Guidance that fits your path

When it comes to studying during high school and also at the university, there are many decisions to make. These are often made without much thought, following what your peers are doing or what your surroundings (such as parents and close friends) tell you to do. However, decisions around your studies often determine your life path, and because there are many ways to follow your dreams, we strongly believe that the right mentor can make your studies into a life-changing, enjoyable, and enriching experience. Much like a great teacher can completely transform your understanding of a subject and make you fall in love with it.

Our mentors help you answer questions such as:

  • What subject(s) should I study?
  • Where should I study?
  • What are even my options for studying?
  • How should I structure my studies?
  • What extracurricular activities are there?
  • How should I prepare my university application?
  • And many more.

How it works

Every mentorship journey is unique and personalized, and o after an initial discussion with a mentor, we will have an understanding of your needs and goals. As a result, with some students we meet once every half a year, while with others we meet every week. Very roughly the general process looks like this:
  • You apply by filling the form.
  • If you get selected, we arrange a meeting with a mentor, either online or in person at the ETH Student Project House in Zurich.
  • During the first meeting we will discuss your needs and create a first proposal for a personalized plan, including how often we would need to meet and what it would cost.
  • Subsequent meetings will help you work on your goals, track your progress and improve upon your plan.
